Another project coming to a close. I've been quite silent about this project, not intentionally if I may say, it's just that without the finishing touches, everything is just white. Pretty white that is!
See the opening post about this reno here, and you can see the moodboard and understand what I mean. The plan for this space is to basically create an efficient and great industrial chic backdrop for all colorful decor and accessories that will eventually grace its shelves and walls.
This is how the space used to look like, and the plans I had for it.
Sorry for the washed out quality of the progress shots since these we're all taken prior to proper lighting installation. Add to that the fact that this space doesn't have any windows! So lots of light is a must!
This is the custom built L-shape employees' table.
It comfortably fits three people each with their own storage! Two long shelves will be added on the right wall.
Here's the faux brick wall. Again sorry for the crappy photo, I'll do better next time with the help of a better lighting!
This is the client's side of the room.
Here's the wall to wall shelves, with lower drawers and cabinets.
I told you everything looks white. But in reality, the wall is painted a pale taupy grey to warm up the room a bit and provide contrast with the white cabinets and trims. The shelves and desk are white washed wood which adds texture to the space. The renovation ends this Saturday, and we'll be decorating next week! Ahhh can't wait to see this space some to life!
Just to give you a preview, I made a mock-up of the plan for the back shelves
Wall paper and two-tone paint! #excited
Watch out for the pipe lighting we installed, the fun drum shade chandelier we'll be putting up, the ornate green sofa we had refinished, and all the other details of this space! What a happy feeling to see a room come together.
