Project Big Reveal: Kreamy Island

5:56:00 AM

Welcome to my very first commercial project. Though this isn't official since this is for people close to me. Meaning, I just butted in and helped out 'coz I can't not. Ha.

It was previously a yogurt shop and they decided to changed direction. So this new look entails reusing as much stuff as we can to save up on additional cost.

Here it is now!

Soft teal with bright yellow, blues, and oranges.

To save on construction, we didn't removed the backsplash at the counter, and reuse the mirror to the right and just added some decorative molding.

Being true to its name, I chose colors that makes the space looks very creamy. ;)

One side has a very high upholstered back rest. We used (very) affordable drop lights, around 550Php each. It is intended for the outdoors, but it's charming and fits right into the design.

Collage of printed clip arts and photos.

Had the drop lights in different height to have a headroom in between tables.

It's not very obvious in the photos because of the lighting, but we painted accent stripe on the walls and ceilings. Its in soft teal color which adds to the playfulness and charm of this shop.

Adding to my ever growing collection of gallery walls.

Another repurposed mirror over a bar table. Reused their existing bar chairs, which is fine 'coz it picks the orange in the counter area. Balance is key.

Finally, one of my favorite yet the simplest element of this decorating, the chairs. We just reupholstered them in fun patterned fabrics... and viola! Generic to custom.

The round white tables were again reused.

And the winning shot of the century.....

Manong guard casually walked in while I was taking photos. Haha... Love it!

Also did their logo and menu design, so I feel like this shop was my baby.

Aside from the very charming interiors (HAHA), they serve good food. I had like a million of their Angus Burger and I'm not stopping. Bagnet, yum. Seafood Pasta, yum. Ice cream creations, YUM! Lets just say that I've tried most of their food while doing and finishing the space and I gained a few extra pounds. I can't help it. Haha....

I'll be dieting tomorrow --my favorite mantra.
