Stylist's Bathroom: Before and After

3/19/2013 01:42:00 PM

Remember the Stylist's Home Office? Well it came with a bathroom. Which of course, was renovated as well. Not only for aesthetics purposes, but also for the space planning. There used to be a tub on the right side of the room as you enter, which we removed to make way for a closet for the home office. The space is really big anyway for a guest bath, so instead of a tub, we installed a shower area.

Here's what we started with. It's a decent bathroom, but the client wanted classic fixtures, and clean overall feel.

AFTER....
clean white bathroom with penny tile floor
Very classic looking toilet and sink with arch shower head. A penny look-a-like tile for the floors. We chose a simple taupe tone for the entire space. Love how it looks so mabango. And it really is. hahaha

Artwork above the toilet.

And one of my fave element in this room, the mirror.

In doing bathrooms, I always stick with classic fixtures and tiles since it's really expensive to replace them. I wanted something that will still look good over the years. Go crazy in painting your walls and all the accessories, but with permanent stuff, keep it simple and timeless. That's all folks! haha

  3. I LOVE the "after" -- totally my style, so much warmer and friendlier than the "before."
